Because our home for seniors is limited to six residents, we are able to provide a level of personal care that is simply unmatched by large assisted living facilities and nursing homes. TenderCare is a family owned business that we started as a small but meaningful answer to the problems inherent in large, assembly-line style senior care facilities. Caring for your loved ones as if they were our own family has become our passion.
We were fortunately led to this home and cannot express how deeply grateful we were to find it for our Mom. She did not have much time here, as her health was rapidly declining, but the time we did have was unmistakably the best move we ever made. Over the past few years, while Mom was continuing her journey through the depths of dementia, we experienced both large facilities and small, and can positively say that TenderCare is miles above any other place. We were immediately impressed with Mashal, Raj, Asta, Mary and Maria, and felt like well loved family members. The home itself is beautiful, clean, quiet and restful. The food is home made, with great attention to detail. Mashal herself cared for Mom in such a tender way, as if she was her own Mom. We finally were comfortable with the idea that there truly are people in this “industry” who keep there promises after we were sadly disappointed so many times before. The only regret is not finding TenderCare sooner. 💜
Mary PrestonMy mom was a resident at Tender Care for only 16 short days but in that time we quickly realized that we had made the best choice possible. She was already under hospice care but we felt that removing her from the home she had been living was crucial to insure her final days would be handled in a caring and respectful manner. Mashal, Raj and their staff are by far the most skilled, gentle and compassionate people we have run across in the field of senior care. My mom has lived in both “facility” and “home” style settings. There is nothing that even comes close to comparing with Tender Care! Unfortunately, Mom had declined to a point where she wasn’t eating much in the way of solid food but she would have loved the real, home cooked food that is provided at mealtimes. shasta kids N FoodMy father-in-law suffered a stroke and we placed him in a nursing home near where we live. Over time, the lack of care of him became very apparent and we knew it was time to look for a new facility. By chance, in calling other facilities, I was told about TenderCare. What a game-changer for my father-in-law. Since moving him there he has not looked better despite his condition. The facility is farther from our home but in one conversation and visit with Mashal, we knew we had found the perfect location for him. The property is beautiful, the home is large, very clean and the rooms for the residents are extremely nice. This facility does not have that institutionalized feel, but that of a clean, comfortable home. He is served home-cooked meals, and the staff, everyone of them, truly cares about his well-being. He is always clean, dressed, comfortable, and very well cared for. TenderCare, Mashal and staff have been a blessing to our family for the care they provide to Dad.

I was no longer able to take care of her. luckily my daughter found tender care we went to visit and as soon as I saw the place and met the owner I knew that’s where my wife should be she receives the best care ever. I would highly recommend it.

Judy HeyboerMy mother currently resides at this home, and it has exceeded all my expectations. The staff are incredible people, and they have really made a difference with my mom. Instead of an institutional setting, this is a beautiful home, with meals served at the dinner table and excellent social interaction critical to the patients welfare. The setting is amazing, with a creek and lots of trees on about 5 acres. I have already told my daughter, when I get older, this facility will be the standard I will be expecting.

Since then, I have watched her pour every effort into constructing this dream and it gives me great joy to see it come to life. In all the time working together I got to see how much she loves, charishes, and cares for every single one of her patients. She takes her time and ensures that everyone is taken care of as they should be. She truly puts her heart into her work and she always knows how to put a smile on people's faces.
